Work Experience
United Communications Group (UCG) • Senior Designer • February 2006 – Present
- Serve as senior designer of an in-house design department providing marketing and design solutions that promote a variety of industries – from telecommunications to oil pricing to home health care – in a fast-paced publishing environment.
- Produce websites and print materials including brochures, signage, workbooks and other collateral used to promote large-scale professional conferences.
- Responsible for the design and layout of multiple annual magazines. Initiated and implemented new branding in 2008 to bring a more cohesive feel to the company’s variety of publications.
- Conceptualize and produce e-blasts and other online media for conferences, company events and promotions.
NOVA Research Company • Graphic Designer • May 2004 – February 2006
- Worked as in-house graphic designer for large government contractor, developing and implementing identity and corresponding materials for national conferences.
- Responsible for the design and production of information-heavy, large-format trade show posters.
- Managed the design process for multiple government publications, including internal design and layout, cover design, and numerous charts and figures.
- Attended press checks and coordinated projects with outside vendors.
- Continue to maintain working relationship as a part-time freelance designer.

- Redesigned and helped build a website for the law firm of Meyers, Rodbell and Rosenbaum, PA.
- Created a new group of certification logos for The Accounts Payable Network (TAPN) as well as brochures
promoting the new certification programs.
- Developed marketing materials for Construction Claims Advisor including project logo and brochures.
- Performed photo retouching on marketing materials for The JBG Companies promoting their residential and commercial portfolio.
